Jason Evans is a Nome, Alaska native who currently serves as the President and CEO of Rural Energy Enterprises (REE), a company focused on providing sustainable energy solutions to rural communities. Evans holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Alaska Pacific University. His diverse roles across various sectors underscore his commitment to community development and sustainable energy solutions in Alaska. In addition to his role at REE, Evans is a member of several other Alaska Boards of Directors including Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC), Sitnasuak Native Corporation (SNC) where he is Board Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee, and the KNBA Advisory Board where he is an advisory board member for KNBA, a public radio station based in Anchorage, Alaska, that serves the Native community .
